WorkBC can help you to prepare for work, look for local jobs, get employment counselling, update your skills and more. Services are delivered through 102 WorkBC Centres located throughout B.C.
WorkBC Employment Services
WorkBC Centres offer individualized employment services and support to help you get a job including:
➢ Individualized employment counselling & support from expert staff
➢ Job search support, access to local job opportunities & connections to employers
➢ Workshops to help you plan and prepare for a job
➢ Help with resume and interview preparation
➢ Wage subsidy job placements and skills training
➢ Clinical counselling to support employment readiness
➢ Foreign credentialing and language interpretation services
➢ Financial supports to help you participate in services and to start a job including dependent
care, transportation, essential work clothing/supplies and more
➢ Individuals participating in WorkBC services are eligible for a free laptop

➢ Photocopiers and telephones
