Trade or transport
You work in the trade or transportation sector involved in the movement of goods or people, and cross the border while performing, or to perform your duties.

Crossing to and from border communities for everyday functions (including school)
You cross the border regularly for everyday functions (e.g. residents of integrated trans-border communities and certain remote communities). This includes going to school if you are less than 18 years of age, driving a student to school, or for a cross-border custody arrangement.
Seasonal agricultural foreign worker
You are a foreign national who seeks to enter Canada to work as a seasonal agricultural foreign worker in the agriculture and agri-food sectors and who holds a valid work permit.

You are a technician or specialist specified by a government, manufacturer, or company, entering Canada as required for the purpose of maintaining, repairing, installing or inspecting equipment necessary to support critical infrastructure (Energy and Utilities, Information and Communication Technologies, Finance, Health, Food, Water, Transportation, Safety, Government and Manufacturing).
Essential medical services, transport or deliveries
One of the following reasons for entry apply to you:
• You are entering due to a medical emergency;
• You are providing or receiving essential medical services;
• You are delivering, installing, maintaining, or repairing necessary medical equipment;
• You are donating or making medical deliveries
Other medical services or care
You are entering Canada for another medically-related reason.
Athlete
You are a professional or amateur athlete approved for entry for an international single sporting event.
