I am pleased to inform you that Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) has determined that your application for a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) received on December 07, 2021 for 1 Senior Software Engineer(s) in Kitchener meets the requirements of the Global Talent Stream for the Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) Program and has received a positive assessment.
This positive LMIA expires on September 14, 2022; prior to this date, the temporary foreign worker must submit their work permit application to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). IRCC will also need the foreign worker to submit a copy of their employment contract, signed by the employer and the foreign worker, prior to issuing a work permit. An LMIA does not authorize the foreign worker to enter, remain or work in Canada; it is only one of IRCC's requirements to determine whether or not to issue a work permit.
