ESL
Come and learn or improve on your English spoken and reading skills. We use small portions of the bible to read and discuss together. After the group discussion, there is a supper servered for everyone.
Every Saturday night from 6:00pm to 7:00pm
Supper served 7:00pm to 8:00pm.

2) VAPC - ESL Conversation
Saturday mornings at 10 am
VAPC began its drop-in ESL conversation club in the early 2000s. While the goal of this program is to help improve English language skills, the participants find as much value or more in the friendships and comradery. This group meets every Saturday morning at 10:00 am at VAPC. All proficiency levels in English are welcome.

3) Foothills Alliance Church

Foothills welcomes new Canadians from around the world! Every week of the year you will find a class or event that has been designed to welcome you, help you settle into Calgary, make friends and feel connected. You are invited to attend any and all events or classes that interest you. Friendly volunteers are waiting to meet you, answer your questions and get to know you and your family.
CURRENT PROGRAMMING
Intercultural Ministries at Foothills provides free classes to help newcomers to Canada settle into Calgary, make friends and feel connected. We currently have 200 students and volunteers registered for online classes. Some classes are large and some are small. Everyone is welcome. Students will receive a weekly email with links to Zoom and lessons.
