For Work Permit we are only able to set up a secured credit card. Secured credit card basically means you must first deposit a security into the savings account. The security you deposit the bank will hold. This means if you deposit $1000, the bank will keep the $1000 on hold, and give you a credit card with limit of $1000 to use and build credit history. Once your work permit is complete and you have the PR Status we can then switch you to the Regular Unsecured Credit Card, If this is something you are interested in let me know and we can book follow up appointment to get this done as well.
