Fireplace Installation Assistant/Helper
TH Fireplaces is currently looking to hire a Fireplace Installation Helper.
The daily requirement of an individual is to assist in loading and unloading gas, wood and electric fireplaces and installing the products in homes and businesses in Calgary and surrounding communities.
They will be completing installations with an experienced lead hand. Individuals must possess a level of technical skills and confidence in safe use of hand and power tools. Candidates must also understand the safe use of ladders and safety equipment for access to roofs for the installation of chimneys. The work week consists of a 5 day week, Monday to Friday commencing at 7:30AM
Personal Requirements:
Oral and written communication in English
Physical capabilities – lifting, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, and kneeling. Attention to detail and job completion with tight deadlines.
Personal Safety Equipment – steel toe work boots, work wear suited for all weather, hand protection gloves and safety glasses.
Hearing protection, hard hat and safety vests will be issued.
Valid Alberta Class 5 Drivers license will be required to operate company vehicles. Hired candidates will require to pass a Safety Orientation Training Course.
Successful candidates will be involved in ongoing training on Fireplace Product and the installation of electric, gas and wood burning applications.
