Немного мат-части, кто не учит правила и ездит как хочет: mpi.mb manitoba Amber — An amber light is a warning that the light is going to turn red. Slow down and stop — never accelerate to “make the light.” If you’re already in the intersection when the light turns amber, continue through. gov.bc British Columbia BC Motor Vehicle Act that applies to yellow light conflicts are s. 128 and s. 174. S. 128 deals specifically with yellow lights, and states: “The driver of a vehicle approaching the intersection and facing the yellow light must cause it to stop before entering the marked crosswalk on the near side of the intersection, or if there is no marked crosswalk, before entering the intersection, unless the stop cannot be made in safety” S. 174 deals with drivers who are attempting to make a left turn, and states: “When a vehicle is in an intersection and its driver intends to turn left, the driver must yield the right of way to traffic approaching from the opposite direction that is in the intersection or so close as to constitute an immediate hazard, but having yielded and given a signal as required by sections 171 and 172, the driver may turn the vehicle to the left, and traffic approaching the intersection from the opposite direction must yield the right of way to the vehicle making the left turn.” So a few points here. If approaching an intersection, before crossing the line or entering an intersection, all drivers must stop if it’s safe to do so. If making a left turn on a yellow light, however, a left-turner already in the intersection must yield only if an approaching vehicle is also in the intersection, or are so close to the intersection that turning would be hazardous; otherwise, once the left-turning vehicle begins the turn, it’s actually the approaching vehicle on the opposite lanes that must yield. Quebec Unless indicated otherwise, when approaching a yellow light, drivers and cyclists must stop before the pedestrian crosswalk or stop line. Or, if there is none, they must stop before the line of the roadway that they are about to cross, unless they are already crossing or are so close it would be impossible for them to stop their vehicle without danger. They must not advance until the signal appears allowing them to advance. Driver of a vehicle who, at a yellow light: Did not stop before the stop line Did not stop before the lateral line on the road (whereas they could have stopped safely) - штраф 100 долларов Saskatchewan When approaching an amber (yellow) light at an intersection, you must stop before entering the crosswalk. If you have already entered, or cannot stop safely, proceed with caution. When approaching a red light, you must stop and remain stopped until the light changes. Alberta Solid yellow light A yellow light is a warning that the light will be changing to red. Drivers and pedestrians must not enter the intersection when the light is yellow. If drivers and pedestrians are already in the intersection, they must clear the intersection. Ontario Yellow light A yellow - or amber - light means the red light is about to appear. You must stop if you can do so safely; otherwise, go with caution
