Nation’s Dental (ND) believes oral health should be accessible and equitable for all. Using a social entrepreneurial model, ND delivers portable oral hygiene services for those who might otherwise be unable to easily access or afford services. Dental hygiene clinics can be provided either in a remote location, or at our homebase office, located at Suite 110, 201-38 Ave NE. Comprehensive services include oral health examinations, head and neck oral cancer screenings, scaling (removal of the hard bacteria), prophylaxis (removal of plaque and stain), fluoride treatments, sealants (plastic coatings for the chewing surfaces of children’s teeth to help prevent cavities), silver diamine fluoride (an easy, affordable, and comfortable treatment that stops tooth decay, as determined by the dental hygienist), oral health education, and referrals to other dental providers as required (ie/dentist, denturist, specialist). Our fees are 15% below the recommended fee guide in Alberta and we offer payment plans to suit your budget. We accept all insurance plans, both private and public, and all forms of payment. We do not extra bill government benefit plans. If you have filed your taxes for 2022 and have children under the age of 12, we can assist you in applying for the Canada Dental Benefit which would cover the costs of your child’s/children’s dental hygiene services, plus provide extra money if additional treatments are required.
