Responsibilities:
Develop new user-facing features using React.js.
Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
Ensure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders, including back-end developers and UI/UX designers.
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Conduct testing of application functionalities and debugging when necessary.
Keep abreast of the latest developments in web applications and programming languages.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript (ES6).
Experience with RESTful APIs and understanding of HTTP protocol.
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token (JWT).
Proficiency in working with Server-Sent Events (SSE) and Websockets for real-time communication in web applications.
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
Experience with developing chatbot interfaces or natural language processing applications.
Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices.
