We are currently looking to hire an experienced Framing carpenter responsible for replacing, repairing, and installing the siding and windows of buildings using a variety of materials.
Our Business is in Calgary, if you are willing to relocate, apply.
To qualify, you must be skilled in the following areas:
Installation experience:
Carpentry skills in wood framing
Install structures and fixtures, such as windows - doors and moulding
Install building paper/wrap, strapping, membranes, and flashing
Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
Replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
Install building envelope
Trim and cladding
Bending metal flashing
Erecting scaffold, work platforms and ladders
Requirements:
Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation.
Must be reliable; work a 40-hour week.
Must be dependable; able to work independently with minimal supervision
Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment
Must have a minimum of 10-years’ experience
Follow WCB and OHS safety regulations
Journeyman Red Seal (is a plus)
Be available and reliable to work a Monday to Friday schedule
