You pr doesn't matter, this channel is not for and not about Canadians, Indians or people having (or going to have) PR in Canada. This group is for Ukrainians living in Richmond and Vancouver. I hope you can understand it's more clear now.

I hate to exclude anyone based on their creed or country of origin. But the issue here is that you come across as very tone deaf. You come to a space of Ukrainians who fled the war started by Russia, many of whom lost everything, and some of whom lost their loved ones. So when you express your support or even neutrality towards the aggressor - that rubs us wrong. You are entitled to your views, but please, in this situation, keep them to yourself. I know that India openly supports Russia. Your country-man politician went on record in Canada, and said as much. Which I personally find disgusting. So, your “neutrality” or sitting on the fence is really not appropriate here. If you want to be in this space - make an effort to respect us and fit in.

Yes, and that is exactly the problem. The ethical and the right thing to do would be to buy your oil elsewhere, even if it costs you more. But no, you decide to support the aggressor. Do you understand that every dollar you pay them pays for them killing Ukrainians?! But you don’t care, do you.
