just remember that it only works if your work permit was issued at that very port of entry. it doesn’t work if, for instance, you got it after applying online and now you want to go to the airport to get it reissued.

no you don’t have to cross the border. usually there’s a cbsa office that you can access from within Canada. the other one is right after the passport control, which you obviously can’t access. they can reissue a work permit if they made a mistake in it.

In case I visit CBSA office, do you know if I need to fly out and fly back in or will they just let me go see the immigration officers without having to take a flight?

here is the guide on how to make a request to amend it. www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/request-amend-record-landing-confirmation-permanent-residence-valid-temporary-resident-documents.html alternatively you can visit a cbsa office at that exact airport you had received it before and ask them to amend it.

Спасибо. Я если честно уже и забыла, а сегодня проверила - месяц ничего вообще. А до этого если не вру стало медленнее чем было, вроде за 10 дней 8 тысяч только. А потом вообще обновлять прекратили.
