Starting December 1st, 2023, Core and Premium Wealthsimple Cash clients can earn a 0.5% interest rate boost when they direct deposit at least $2,000 into the Cash account in a 30-day period (up to a total maximum interest rate of 5%).
Core and Premium clients must continue to direct deposit at least $2,000 every 30 days to continue earning the boosted rate. If a client can no longer meet the boosted rate criteria, their interest rate will return to their everyday interest rate of 4% or 4.5%
