I am Russian and my interviewer is Ukrainian VVQl71 @ Amazon Hey all I want serious replies please. I’ve applied to one of the FAANG companies, I got an interview invitation with the name of the interviewer. I am Russian (also easy to realize from my name and CV - graduated from Moscow uni and worked in Moscow many years). I’ve received the name of the interviewer - he is Ukrainian.. I’m concerned about potential bias against me here due to having a conflict between our countries, what should I do? I was thinking about rescheduling the interview, hoping that they will randomly assign someone else instead. Few of my friends suggested talking to the recruiter about it as they have to provide an equal opportunity and I shouldn’t be interviewed by a political enemy country origin interviewer, but I don’t wanna look as a trouble maker, but I am seriously concerned the interviewer will not pass me only because I am Russian… What would you do ? @blind_feed
