What's the Deal? is a platform that connects restaurants with their target audience so they can fill their seats during off-peak hours and allows users to find the best deal on exactly what they're craving.
"What's the Deal? was born out of the need to discover the finest happy hours in Edmonton. After enduring long shifts in the restaurant industry, our founder, Kate, craved a satisfying meal and a refreshing beverage at an affordable price. To track down the best deals, she painstakingly scoured each restaurant's website and occasionally resorted to making phone calls. Kate envisioned a mobile app that could gather all the top restaurant offers, specials, happy hours, and drink promotions, presenting them to her based on her current location. Not finding anything like it in the App Store, she took it upon herself to create one! Her brother, Leo, joined her in this endeavor, and together they laid the groundwork for What's the Deal?"
