The Shop Technician will be responsible for managing the shop, by making sure all tools, equipment and vehicles are working properly as well as managing the inventory of materials.  Major Responsibilities • Maintain the shop, garage and yard, including inventory, machines, spare parts and tools. • Repair certain tools and equipment or lead their repair and maintenance at the dealership • Receive deliveries at shop; assist in loading/unloading as required. • Transportation of machines and/or parts to and from pickup or repairs. • Transporting machines to and from work sites • Gassing, fueling, greasing, and sharpening of machines and vehicles. • Making purchases, receiving material, and data entry into system • Manage inventory of landscape materials  • Other related duties and tasks Requirements • Ability to use our softwares  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role • Must be able to drive and operate all machines used at Strathmore. • Good physical endurance to load / unload material and tie down machines on trailers. • Must be able to drive and park a vehicle with a trailer on it. • Must have a class 5 driving or full G License with a clean driving record. • Autonomous and organized • Must speak French or English.
