Due to the extremely high demand for consular services during the Vancouver field trip Oct. 26-27, 2024 the number of applications to manufacture PGUPCs already exceeds our physical capacity to process them. Due to this, the GCU in Edmonton ceases to accept applications from appropriate categories of citizens (mentioned in a prior notice).
First of all will be admitted to citizens who do not have a passport at all, children enrolled in a parent's passport, whose passport expires by April 2025 and who applied first.
Citizens who will be admitted will receive a confirmation stating the date and time of admission, as well as other details and requirements in response to their applications.
!! ️ Announcing! Citizens who do not receive confirmation will not be able to be admitted. It is appropriate to come to the place where the reception will be held.
Along with that, the GCU further plans to conduct field consular services in British Columbia at least once a six month. Accordingly, citizens who were not able to get to the reception this time will have this opportunity during the next reception. We are also ready to host citizens of preferential categories at the premises of the GCU in Edmonton. To do this, they must write us a relevant request (preferential citizens only) with copies of supporting documents to the GCU general post office in Edmonton.
!! ️ We also remind you that during the away consular service:
- already prepared passports will be issued;
- extension of valid passports;
- acceptance of documents to register a child by a citizen of Ukraine at birth.
!! ️ The mentioned services will be provided in a live order mode. No appointment needed.
