Yes but why they open a lot of spots if they couldn’t handle everything, we came here travelling around the world to arrive, and help us to first years and this year they close the easiest way to have pr but not all have full time or money to cover all the expenses for pr, so they need to help in some way the passports expires and time is running so fast so what we gonna do if we don’t have the pr we gonna be in the limbo or move to where ? They need to give us easiest way to have pr I think so

That’s the situation :( if we have the pr with the refugee program we can’t go to Ukraine it’s horrible :(

Дякую Вам за відповідь . я ж не думаю що вони зможуть відкликати мою номінацію , тому що подумали що я працюю ремонтником авто ! Я більш про все за це переживаю , що вони переплутали і саме тому дали мені номінацію , хоча там все чітко і правильно вказано , я все перевірила в заявці і в листах .

Blin and you don’t gonna have anymore the citizenship of Ukraine because of the refugee ? Crazy ways they need to help all CUAET people with pr asap

It's a long journey to have a citizenship thru refugee protection. 1. Apply for a refugee protection 2. Wait up to 2 years to get a Protected Person status. 3. Apply for PR as a Protected Person. 4. Wait for up to 2 years to get your application processed. 5. You would have to live another 2 years in PR status before you apply for citizenship. 6. Wait a year to become a Canadian citizen and get your passport. In total up to at least 7 years before you can travel abroad.

The thing is that if you apply for asylum, you have to hand off your passport to the federal government of Canada. Therefore, even if you have gotten your PR (after approximately 4 years), you won't have a Ukrainian passport to travel. It'll take another 3 years to apply for citizenship
