So it's clear that we need to meet the general requirements. We have the letter for the work permit approval and everything though it won't mean much I guess now.

We have our baby too who was born in the US..we are just afraid that they might reject us from the airport and ask us to leave if are unable prove strong ties to our home countries (such as employment) as suggested on the link that you sent us because I have been working in the US from past two years not in my home country. Our situation is a bit different and we are afraid of being separated because of immigration.

So you will need present passport with visa, poe letter to receive work permit in first airport of Canada, place where to stay wile you will be in Canada and officer can ask about finance to live in Canada As you are not Ukrainian don’t choose Calgary as first airport in Canada and better if you will arrive together with your wife Work permit most probably you can receive up to 3 years from date of entering, but depends from mood of officer - they can give you till the date on poe letter

Потому, что там офицеры менее дружелюбны , и даже в хорошие времена часто отказывали в вп супругам украинцев. И даже самим украинцам. Поэтому самый лучший вариант это Торонто.

nobody checks general requirements. just dont fly into calgary. fly into toronto or vancouver airport. they still issue wp if you have a letter of introduction

а его не учитывают обычно по причине того что его рейсы ограничены мексикой-сша-кубой и сезонными в пределах евразийского континента. тоесть прям вот совсем ниразу не распространенный вариант )

ну почему так категорично. достать паспорт и раскрыть его на страничке с вклеенной визой. в данный момент это единственный оставшийся вариант 😁

В идеале :) Учтите в Торонто могут быть очереди на иминрационке (мы ждали более 4х часов) поэтому не берите перелет до следующей точки назначения через час-полтора после приземления Смотрите что б хотябы часа 4 было а лучше 6-7
