I am looking for: A recently-arrived small Ukrainian family, preferably mother with 1 daughter, but ok also with mom and 2 small children, any gender, to pay reduced rent for 1 year starting in October when my sponsored Ukrainian family (Olga and her 8-year old daughter) will arrive. In return, they will share this apartment with them, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, + bonus room in basement (which could be a 4th bedroom if necessary), and help them integrate/adjust to life in Calgary.  We want these 2 families to share 3012 Edmonton Tr NE. The rent will be $1200/month + 1/2 the utilities (Olga will pay the other half of utilities).  If after one year, the two families like the arrangement and wish to continue, then we are open to letting them stay for overall reduced rent of $1900, and since Olga will start to pay rent too, then they would each pay half that amount, or perhaps 1000/900 split depending on number of bedrooms they use. The apartment has just been renovated with new kitchen, bathroom, appliances, windows and painting. It is 1100 square feet. Winston Heights is a great area, not too far from downtown, easy public transit and lots of nice restaurants, shops, schools,etc., nearby. There is parking space for 1 car in the attached garage, and additional parking in the large driveway. I should also mention that if Olga and her daughter are delayed arriving, the rent-paying family can still move in on October 1 paying only the $1200 monthly.
