Property Attendant - Employment Opportunity
Legacy Gate is looking to employ one person for part-time employment as a Property Attendant. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
MAINTENANCE & CHECKS
Test all doors monthly to ensure they close correctly.
Check mechanical rooms weekly and report any leaks.
Walk all halls and stairwells twice a week to inspect for damage, deficiency or concerns and report to Condominium Manager.
Check garbage room daily for items not allowed; check cameras for residents bringing unallowed items to garbage/recycling for disposal; note resident depositing unallowed item(s) and report to Condominium Manager along with screenshots.
Walk premises weekly and pick up stray trash and dog poop; pick up any stray trash and dog poop when seen.
Inspect parking stalls in the parkade to ensure they are kept free of all items in accordance with the bylaws/policies. Report breach of bylaw to Condominium Manager.
Inspect balconies to ensure they are kept free of all items in accordance with the bylaws/policies. Report breach of bylaw to Condominium Manager.
Inspect outside of building periodically, noting items needing repair.
Check all signage to ensure it is in good repair and where it should be.
Walk around buildings and parkade periodically to check for bylaw violations, maintenance and potential damage.
HANDYMAN SERVICES
Complete general handyman repairs, as needed (ie: clean graffiti off wall, secure railings, etc).
ADMINISTRATIVE
Maintain on site database of bike decals. Distribute bike decals as needed. Ticket bikes that do not display decals or who have been parked outside for more than 24 hours.
Check cameras as required to find information on bylaw violations
Responsible for tags and fobs in accordance with the policy. Distribute tags and fobs as required. Report costs to Diversified Management.
Report residents who do not abide by the bylaws, along with supporting documents.
Assist Precise Parkline in issuing parking tickets, as needed.
Post notices in buildings, as required.
This is not a final and complete list of duties. Because of the nature of the complex, events will occur that will bring about unforeseen duties which are not on this list. The Board will ask the Property Attendant to attend whatever is necessary, especially in the event of an emergency, to keep the buildings operating as they should.
Compensation: $25.00 per hour for a 20 hour work week. Hours of work must be Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
