A Ukrainian couple with me afford rent in private house in Calgary in Somerset community. 3 adults. All work minimum wage (30k per year). Together this is 90k per year and this is more than enough to live on a private house for them

You can buy a house or rent cheap Vulcan Alberta. But unless you want to live on a far and have to drive 35km to go to a restaurant. It's not worth it
