Unfortunately the only option right now is to take your car seat to a local landfill, or put it out on a garbage pick up in a garbage bag. Please cut the straps and/or write on the fabric "NOT SAFE FOR USE" to ensure that it is obvious the seat is not safe for use.

All car seats and booster seats sold in Canada have an expiry or useful life date. Using an expired car seat or booster seat is against the law and puts your child at risk. If you can't find the expiry date on your seat, you can find the “useful life date” specific to your seat in your instruction manual.
