THANK YOU Mayor Brian Bowman City of Winnipeg – Municipal Government!🇨🇦🤝🇺🇦
Incoming Ukrainian adults displaced by the war to Winnipeg will be eligible to apply for the WINNpass program, which subsidizes a monthly bus pass by 50%.
Individuals will be required to upload a copy of their Ukrainian passport and proof (PDF) of their status in Canada with federal government issued documents (e.g., visa/open work permit).
Online applications are typically processed within 14 days and the WINNpass is valid for 1 year.
Once approved, the pass can be picked up at the Winnipeg Transit Service Centre located at 510 Main Street. Monthly reloading is to be done in person at any Winnipeg Transit vendor (also at any Shoppers and 7/11 location).
