Ride 3,000 km in southern Manitoba in 30 days to raise funds for Humanitarian Aid for Ukrainian newcomers in Manitoba. The ride will be entirely self-supported with all the funds going directly to UCC Manitoba. Fred Enns - Bio - One of nine children born to immigrant parents who farmed in southern Manitoba. Attended small, rural schools before finishing high school in Winnipeg. Chose a career in teaching and completed my BA, B.Ed and partial MA. Taught every grade level during 35 years in the public school system. Bicycle touring has taken me across thousands of miles in Canada, the US and around the world. I consider myself fortunate and I am thankful to the many people who have enriched my life. Larry Gore - Bio - Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Graduated with a BA in History and English and an MA in History from the University of New Mexico. Served two tours of combat in Vietnam with the U.S. Marine Corps. Served 12 years total, active and reserve. Employed by Albuquerque Public Schools for 30 years as a classroom teacher, teaching Political Science and History. Served as a U.S. National Park Ranger throughout the U.S. for 15 years. An avid touring cyclist, riding thousands of miles for many years.
