For those looking at the upcoming flyer, SDM (Loblaws) keeps pushing the food prices higher and higher and testing. For example,
Oreo's was 2 x $2.29 two weeks ago, upcoming flyer => 2 x $5.50
Cheetos was 2 x $3.00 a few weeks ago, upcoming flyer = 2 x $4.00 (Walmart upcoming flyer shows a sale $2.97 each)
These are just small samples of what Loblaw is doing to push food inflation higher and higher. You can see this with other food products as they are trying to keep pushing to see where the breaking point is.
So use more of your redemption points but get less of the product. Just look at the next quarter profits. How disgusting Loblaw (i.e. Metro, etc.) are getting away with it.
