(3:59:58 p.m.) Agent: Regarding your driving experience from another country:
Onlia is one of the few insurers who considers out-of-country licensed years, as long as the MTO (Ministry of Transportation) has your foreign driving record registered. You can contact them, and consult your drivers abstract to confirm your total number of licensed years.
New to Ontario and have no prior insurance history in Canada? We give you 3 claim-free years as a baseline.
Note that you need a valid Ontario driver’s licence to apply for Onlia insurance.
(4:00:31 p.m.) Yuliia : ok, and then when I want to buy insurance where should I put that abstract?
(4:02:24 p.m.) Agent: You have to show the abstract to MTO or need to visit service Ontario and get the experience registered. 🙂
(4:03:13 p.m.) Yuliia : I know, but how I should provide it to Onlia?
(4:03:28 p.m.) Agent: If you have already presented your abstract to them then you can put the date you got out of country license.
