Responsibilities:
Design, implement and support production and development environments / workloads
Design, implement, and support development tools (CI, Git etc) and related integrations
Keep in place security and operational best practices
Design, implement and react to monitoring systems
Participate in the design and development of software
Teach and support software development engineers
Requirements:
At least 5+ years in tech operations, and hands-on experience with a public cloud provider is a must
Hands-on experience in the development and testing of IaaC (Cloudformation, Terraform, Pulumi, CDK, etc)
Hands-on experience in writing and supporting software (Python, Ruby etc)
Comprehensive Linux skills, including proven hands-on experience deploying and managing DevOps tools (CircleCI, GitLab-CI, Nexus, SonarQube etc).
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, and server/application load-balancing technologies.
Hands-on experience implementing and managing Cloud Infrastructure and Application Monitoring/Logging solutions (Dynatrace, DataDog, Splunk, New Relic etc)
Hands-on experience implementing and managing CaaS (Containers as a Service) Kubernetes/ECS/EKS/AKS. Docker solutions on private and public Cloud Platforms.
