#1 Charge pipe with hairline crack with no CEL, then final the transmission went into emergency mode. Charge pipes were replaced and the acceleration delay went away.
#2 Check your transmission fluid and level.
This also leads to acceleration delay. For me, it was in stop-and-go summer heat. The engine was heat-soaked.
# 3 I finally went with Unitronic stage 1+ and zero acceleration-related issues.
I did have the 24 recall done but I do not think it helped.
These are my experiences, I purchased this vehicle new, and maybe this post can shed some light on others.
