What you'll be doing:
● Perform manual, automated, and simple to medium complexity performance testing; Conduct Build Verification, Integration and System testing following established departmental testing and documentation standards to ensure applications are reliable, highly functioning, and free of defects;
● Provide regular reports on the testing status of assigned products, detect potential delays at an early stage, and report to Team Lead or Manager;
● Explain software testing results to product development teams and recommend product improvements;
● Help develop new software testing standards, procedures, and techniques to test and evaluate products effectively;
● Assist junior staff in reviewing test cases and help senior staff with complex testing
What you'll have:
● Knowledge of structured test methodology, test techniques, and test processes
● Experience/Exposure to Financial Institution testing
● Experience using manual testing tools for API/BE, specifically Postman
● Familiarity with testing APIs endpoints.
● Strong automation knowledge in Java-based tools and frameworks such as Katalon, BDD Serenity, Rest Assured, and Postman
● Experience using Swagger and checking Open API Spec
● Familiarity with Agile frameworks
● Experience documenting test cases using common industry tools, such as TestRail
● Experience using Bug reporting/tracking tools (preferably Jira and Confluence)
● Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and time management skills.
● Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with clients, technical teams, and other co-workers, work to schedules and adapt easily to changing priorities and business needs.
● Ability to work on multiple projects in a team environment.
