Eligibility Criteria:
Section 1 – Canadian Status + Currently live in BC
· Canadian Citizen
· Permanent Resident
· Ukrainian Refugees (CUAET)
· Refugee with Court Order Decision/ Work Permit
Section 2 – Employment Status
· Unemployed
· Casual/ on-call Employed (less than 20 hours per week)
· Part-Time Employed (less than 20 hours per week)
Section 3 - EI Eligibility
· BCEA PWD Clients
· BCEA Non-PWD Clients (Income Assistance)
· Active Regular Employment Insurance (EI) Benefits
· EI Reachback: have had Regular EI benefits within the previous 60 months
· Worked full-time for at least any 5 years out of the last 10 years in Canada + have earned more than $2,000 in insurable earnings and have paid Employee EI premiums on those earnings in at least 5 of the last 10 years (Note: the 5 years do not have to be consecutive years)
Section 4 – WorkBC Case Management
· WorkBC Case Manager confirmed your eligibility and submitted your application to the Ministry. Case Manager send an approval email to

[email protected] before the program starts (this process may take 1-8 weeks depending on the WorkBC workload).
