Construction Road & Sidewalk Repair Traffic Control/ Flagger Landscape Maintenance Wastewater Operation Training Information: Public Works Technician Training is a 100% government-funded free, group-based full-time program consisting of: 1 week of orientation 9 weeks of virtual and in-person academic training 1 week of short-term certifications 1 week of job support 4 weeks of work experience with local employers. This will prepare participants to work as Public Works Technicians. After completing the program, participants will receive a certificate from a post-secondary institution.
