TORONTO- NO AIRPORT HOUSING
I am WARNING everyone, the only people now getting housing are families with kids. NO HOUSING for WOMEN/COUPLES, OR SINGLE GUYS. Just today we have already had 3 emergencies, with 2 young girls that have no place to go, as well as a single guy.
I repeat, for everyone, you need to have ACCOMMODATION AHEAD of TIME. Look on airbnb and book the rooms, there will be very little even short term housing, once 30 000 people will arrive in TORONTO/HAMILTON in the next 6 weeks. If you're coming for a 2 week vacation, GET A HOTEL.
Bring at LEAST $1000 with you and a valid credit card. It takes 1-2 weeks sometimes longer to get the $3000, and the banks only give a credit card once you have a permanent place to live.
