Я думав їх більше, то просто була одна й та сама вакансія у різних рекрутерів.

Про вордпресс говорити не будемо, а щодо php mvc frameworks - зараз не можу знайти статистику швидко, але бачив її не так давно, laravel займає шось там 65% ринку, а symfony - 12 чи шось таке, тому це зовсім не дивно

Як senior php dev з досвідом в обох - це не дуже дивно :-) для більшості проектів laravel підходить краще, хоча зараз я працюю саме з сімфоні

Але Laravel він дуже швидко розвивається, має велике ком'юніті та багато оновлень, тому багато компаній буде й далі його юзати.

Laravel просто більш казуальний, більше розробників, бо легче почати юзати його. На моїй теперішній роботі ми не юзаемо фреймворки. Vanilla PHP. Мене рекрутерка попередила, що якщо будуть питати про фреймворки треба відповісти щось нейтральне але більше в негативному контексті)

"не юзаємо фреймворки" це як на мене як shooting yourself in the foot, або reinventing the wheel 😁 але так, ларавель легше почати та більше розробників, та він достатньо вже гнучкий та функціональний для більшості проектів. А вже там, де його не вистачає - можна юзати сімфоні, хоча якщо чесно в сьогодняшньому стані речей мені доволі важко уявити проект, якому недостатньо буде ларавель чинної версії, та й eloquent мені більше подобається, аніж doctrine, але шо поробиш - у нас 15 сервісів на сімфоні 😁

Є нюанси звісно, наприклад я не певен, шо в ларавель сьогодні є аналог doctrine entity listeners - не дивився на неї кілька років, та таких дуже специфічних прикладів можна навести багато
