if she has a valid passport, she doesnt need TRP, as it is issued to those who dont have a passport. you can apply for wp online and upload a letter of explanation to an officer requesting to cancel TRP while approving wp as TRP is no longer needed due to having a valid passport.

she is not eligible for trp as she holds a valid passport. unless trp was issued specificaly because she is medically or criminally inadmissible. if she has visa, she can leave canada and come back and cancel her trp. trp gets canceled at the moment of exiting canada. when entering back she can ensure the border officer does cancel her trp in the system. 1. leave and come back to cancel trp - apply online for wp w/o any explanation letter 2. apply for wp online with explanation letter asking to cancel trp
