Toronto Newcomerswww.compareschoolrankings.org/ this one shows you all the schools and their rankings. Just navigate to whichever neighborhood you'd like :) -
Toronto NewcomersThere is a Facebook group called Toronto Raptors Tickets. People there are resellers and have vouches to show that they have previously sold it to people inside the group. You can find some GREAT deals there. Other option is just through a website. If you wait 10-15 minutes before the game starts you can find some really good deals on that website too! Like 75% off in some cases! -
Toronto NewcomersOh nvm lol looks like you already bought them -
Toronto NewcomersI think support comes in many ways. It can be in a form of a protest, it can be sending money to Ukranian charities recognized by Ukraine, it can be volunteer work, or a combination of all 3 (and probobaly even more options!). -
Toronto NewcomersBecause I don't know how to write in Ukranian lol. Left Ukraine in Grade 2, back in the 90s. -
Toronto NewcomersAlso to point out, Toronto is a very cold city, geographically, but more important it's a cold city when it comes to opening up to people. Travelling to USA/Europe quite often, its very noticble. In Toronto, people are VERY polite, but it starts and stops at being polite. Most people don't put the effort into forming friendships and having hobbies. This happens because it's a VERY expansive city to live in. When you have 50%+ of your salary going into rent/mortage, and the other 50% going into car/food/clothing/transportation/health, you have very little left to save, and even less to spend money on hobbies, interests, and just enjoying life. So when you talk about protests, a lot of people care about what is going on, but mentally they are exhausted from everything they had to do during the day so when it comes to go to a protest, they are checked out and just tired. Can't blame them. -
Toronto NewcomersIt is interesting, considering USA has 10x more population than Canada, but has a lower Ukranian population, albeit not by a lot, but still a noticble amount when compared between two countries. 0.3% - USA 2.2% - Canada -
Toronto NewcomersIf people are able, everyone needs to go. -
Toronto NewcomersHappy ending, but still wish there was some pie involved where all of us were invited to. -
Toronto NewcomersThis is still going on LOL 😆 I think at this point just let insurance or whoever deal with this. Not random people from Telegram. -
Toronto NewcomersI'm just waiting for the part where you two hug it out, make different kinds of pies together, and invite all of us for dinner. -
Toronto NewcomersI had a similar 'scratch' like that before. I've been told that if you put your finger on it and run it through the scratch, and if you can't feel it, you can just colour it in, but if you can feel the scratch with your finger, the entire part needs to be repainted. Just looking at the picture, it's fairly clear that you can absolutely feel the 'scratch' with your finger. You can for sure just paint over it, but you'll notice the paint difference right away. When I had my scratch on the front, the entire thing had to be repainted. They took the car for a week, they told me they had to remove the part, sand it down, and repaint it, among other things. For sure call around and find out, but $100 seems very low for someone to remove the part, sand it down, and paint it. -
Toronto NewcomersThis is NOT a $150 job to fix. Unfortunately this is more. -
Toronto NewcomersFixed it thank you lol -
Toronto NewcomersA lot of drama here for Wednesday afternoon 🤔 -
Toronto NewcomersGreat neighborhood -
Toronto NewcomersI don't know if we have a dedicated place that takes non-alcoholic cans specifically. If you want to take those cans to a service that pays you back, you'll most likely need to take it to a metal scrap yard of sorts. ( www.yelp.ca/search?find_desc=Recycling+Cans+For+Cash&find_loc=Toronto%2C+ON ) - Payout is minimal to my understanding. I feel like it'll cost more to take the bus then what you'll get in return. -
Toronto NewcomersFor a full day experience, Thermea in Whitby is great and Scandinave. spa in Blue Mountain are both excellent! Both have places to stay over night, both have restaurants, hot springs, different types of massages and thermal baths. -
Toronto NewcomersJanuary 26th was the last day. Now it says you'll have to get it to a dedicated drop-off site that will get rid of it. However I know some people break it down and take it out like any regular small just like you would throughout the year, including leaf bags.
