Issued work permit will be till the end of passport but not longer than three years. In event of validity of the passport being shorter than three years issued work permit will be one day shorter than passport validity for you safely to return to home country to attend the need of updating your passport.

When you are applying for a work permit while having a work permit on your hands - they will send you a letter that allows you to work while your application is in process. So basically you can apply for a work permit in the last day of the one on your hands... but of course better not do it this way.

No. Do it when you will move to new address. Than anything that is delivered by Canada post will reach you on the need address.
