I know Canada is a country that protects human rights, it can help everyone whose rights have been violated.I would like to briefly tell you my story and why I am contacting you with a request. I served in the Georgian army for 4 years, I participated in the Kosovo mission in 2007, I am a participant in the 2008 war between Georgia and Russia, but unfortunately we lost many fighters and territory. And now that Russia has invaded Ukraine, Russian citizens are entering Georgia. No one knows who they are, there is no control. I feel threatened, not only me but also my family, I have a wife and 3 children.I feel threatened because I fought against them before in 2008. Many of my army friends emigrated and I decided to go too. Therefore, on July 6, I applied for a Canadian tourist visa to go to the Canadian border and ask for asylum, but my visa was not accepted.
