Ждуны CUAET Canada 🇨🇦 -
Ждуны CUAET Canada 🇨🇦We have our baby too who was born in the US..we are just afraid that they might reject us from the airport and ask us to leave if are unable prove strong ties to our home countries (such as employment) as suggested on the link that you sent us because I have been working in the US from past two years not in my home country. Our situation is a bit different and we are afraid of being separated because of immigration. -
Ждуны CUAET Canada 🇨🇦I highly appreciate your responses Anna -
Ждуны CUAET Canada 🇨🇦Yup haven't entered Canada yet -
Ждуны CUAET Canada 🇨🇦So it's clear that we need to meet the general requirements. We have the letter for the work permit approval and everything though it won't mean much I guess now. -
Ждуны CUAET Canada 🇨🇦Anna thank you so much for the response. There is conflicting information on this page which kind of has confused us. Section relevant to us states " You can still travel to Canada using your approved temporary resident visa (TRV) until it expires. If you were also approved for an open work permit, you will get one when you arrive in Canada, as long as it has not expired. However, because the deadline to enter Canada to benefit from the CUAET measures was March 31, 2024, you need to meet the general requirements to enter Canada are no longer eligible for in-Canada supports and exemptions under the CUAET measures " -
Ждуны CUAET Canada 🇨🇦So we have to make sure that meet the general requirements ? -

Ждуны CUAET Canada 🇨🇦Hey guys, quick question. My wife and I are Ukrainian parolees in the US. We came here after a long visa cuaet wait because I'm a non ukrainian national & they gave the visa to me in December 2023. Trump administrations attitude towards immigrants and Ukraine leaves us no choice but to move elsewhere so we are thinking of moving to Canada. Problem is, we've heard we can't use the CUAET program to enter Canada and get the work permits 'cause we missed some March 31, 2024 deadline. Is this true? Anyone know what our options are? We're kinda stuck here and could use some advice.. Thanks a tonne.
